2013 Miss Sacramento County® Pageant

Oftentimes the fashion community focuses attention solely on the fashion capitals of New York, Los Angeles, Milan, and Paris. Yet, to overlook the nascent communities developing their own unique fashion cultures would be a mistake. For example, San Francisco, whose fashion community places a value on the synergies between fashion & technology, and serves as a national fashion online blogging hub, should not be overlooked. And to our pleasant surprise here at Legally Vogue, Sacramento is well on its way to nurturing and developing its own burgeoning Fashion Community. This past Sunday, November 10, 2013, the organizer of Sacramento Fashion Week, Duane Ram, partnered with the executive director of the Miss Sacramento County and Miss Sacramento County Teen Pageants, Mykesha Robinson, to produce an engaging afternoon of fashion and entertainment: The 2013 Miss Sacramento County Pageant. No resources were spared in producing a professional, polished presentation.   Hosted by Nina Haijan – noted host of “Good Day Sacramento,” the event combined a fashion show, musical performances by Bobby Debarge Junior and Andre Mieux (A.M.X.) and preliminary pageants to Donald Trump’s Miss California and Miss California Teen USA competitions. --AUTHOR: Gregory Lemmons Esq. is a Founding Contributor to Legally Vogue and Partner at Lord Bertram, a fashion and entertainment law practice.

Hosted by Nina Hajian

Nina is the fun loving voice you hear weekday mornings between 5:30 and 10am on NOW 100.5 as co-host of the Todd and Nina Morning show.  She's the girl that will say what everyone else is thinking, but are too afraid to say.  Nina moved to the Sacramento area a little over 2 years ago from Seattle and has since jumped head first into the Sacramento Community.

Nina keeps herself busy by spending time with the people she loves, trying new restaurants and seeking out adventure.  She can also be seen weekends as a feature reporter for Good Day Sacramento where she's done everything from eat bugs to channeling Marilyn Monroe.

It's her fearless and genuine attitude that attracts people to her.   Nina's mission is to help anyone, especially women, realize their potential and fight for a dream.  After being told "NO" countless times throughout her own life and overcoming many obstacles  Nina has learned that there is nothing more powerful then believing in yourself.  It's her dedication to that truth and her own dreams that fuels her inspiration and drive.

Andre Mieux (A.M.X.)

Andre Mieux is a multi-talented singer/songwriter/producer who graduated with a major in Digital Media/Audio Recording and now is pursuing a degree in Communications. Andre received scholarships from Cal Arts and Long Beach State College. Andre grew up in a very musical family, with his extended relatives a part of the Philharmonic(s), Fox TV, and several other major placements in music production and film. As early as the age of 8, Andre lit the spark of what he would one day call his career. Andre started writing, dancing and singing for a small group called Eagle Wings through his local church in West Covina, CA. By age 12, Andre had begun producing music with a friend, Grammy winning former member of the Yellowjackets, Ricky Lawson, who turned out to be one of his greatest connections to the music industry.

Bobby DeBarge Jr.

Bobby's vocals carry on the legacy of that “signature DeBarge sound” while still standing out and being his own artist. This popping new artist will be climbing the charts so don’t miss out on being apart of this new legacy.  Bobby Debarge Jr. is a sensational vocalist/songwriter/producer who has raw talent and musical instinct beyond his years.
